Why Pause an Open Request?

An open request can receive multiple offers from providers who discover its job location.

If you have already received 3-4 strong offers, you can pause your request to prevent other providers from spending time submitting new proposals.

  • INSTANT HIDING: Pausing immediately hides the job from the Providers' "Browse Service Requests" feed in real time.
  • BLOCKS NEW OFFERS: Providers can no longer submit new offers on paused requests.
  • SAVES EXISTING OFFERS: Previous provider offers remain accessible in "Offers Received".
  • RE-OPENING: If none of the existing applicants fit your schedule or budget, you can toggle the switch back to Active (🟒) at any time to resume accepting new quotes.
  1. Navigate to "Request Manager" in your Seeker Workspace.
  2. Find your open job request card.
  3. Click the Active / Paused switch to toggle it to Paused (⏸️).
